I think I may have forgotten to mention something to you dears....

Last Monday, I drove home from work like it was a Friday afternoon.  Never mind the fact that there was a strange man, in a strange car, in my driveway.  I had to ransack my mailbox! (CA had failed to mention that Jeremy, the gutter guy, was coming to clean out our gutters!)  Poor guy must have thought I was crazy jumping around in the driveway celebrating as I tried to call everyone I knew.

I passed my NCIDQ exam....all three parts.  Now I'm an official certificate holder and a bonafide interior designer.  Watch out now!

It's been a busy week, but I promise to return with a good recipe I'm trying out on my bunco group tonight.  I'll also update on my super busy weekend approaching.  With Chase flying out to Vegas for a guys weekend, I'm packing up my bags and heading to see Garth Brooks in Nashville.  Then Saturday morning, I'm heading out to spend the weekend at my happiest place to be on Earth.  Camp.

Until then my little peppermint heads...

The results are in....

It's been a grueling three months at our house....waiting nearly 14 weeks for results of the BIGGEST test of your life is not an easy task.  It certainly wasn't any easier leaving for the lake on Friday and finding out from a friend that results came to Birmingham on Saturday.

I opened the mailbox yesterday fresh from the lake to that envelope on top, staring and burning an anxious hole my brain.

I PASSED the two hardest sections!!!  Guess what?  I retake the easiest in October!  That was the test I felt the most comfortable and the two I passed, I thought I bombed!

What are the odds?  Take a look at the 2009 results release:

Section I (Principles and Practices of Interior Design): 74% RETAKE!  Section II (Contract Documents and Administration): 66% PASSED!  Section III (Schematics and Design Development): 68% PASSED!

I am beyond relieved, excited and pleased with my results.  Studying this time around will be a lot easier to handle and the best part....I'll get to enjoy football season!

We're down to the wire...

I'm in a fog....I'm not sure if it's the Americans Disabilities Act Codes or the POLLEN that has loomed and overtaken the deep South. All I know is both should hopefully clear up by the week's end. Rain will hopefully wash down the pollen and my NCIDQ examination is Friday and Saturday.

Will you please say a prayer for me? I have been preparing for this exam since January. I've lived it, breathed it, slept it...and if osmosis worked by putting a book under my pillow at night I would have done that too. (Still not ruling that one out!) Just ask Chase....we've worn out our options on bag meals and my house will tell you it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned since Christmas. Anyway, I can only rely that the good Lord will pull me through this one when I think my knowledge can't carry me anymore.

God bless you all and thank you for all your support. I look forward to gracing your presence in the blogosphere next week at a more attentative rate! :)
