I have a request for my readers/blog stalkers! Will you please say a prayer for me?
Recently I have decided that it is time to finish pursuing my goals in becoming a licensed & registered interior designer. I've completed the first two requirements, that which are obtaining a degree in interior design and completing a few thousand hours of interior design experience. Check. Next, examination time!
I have two prayer requests....the first the ability and drive to study, study study! It is the most crucial part of this 3 fold, 2 day test. Some content I know well, the others I can't remember at all! I've had friends that have passed and some that failed. The majority passed with exceptional study habits. The test is in April 2010, but I have to register by December.
This brings me to my second request. I have reviewed a professional career development profile with my boss to put all my goals out there on the table. After reviewing the process with him, he is in full support of my decisions. This is excellent news, especially since it is being decided in the next week whether my company will financially support this decision. While I never want to ask for handouts, I would graciously accept any financial help that might be offered my way. This test is not cheap....at all, and if you fail, you pay and take it again. Loverly, huh? If you can please lift another prayer for the right decisions to be made on everyone's part in order for this to take place. Times are hard economically in the building business, so this would be a big offering from my company if granted.
Thanks for remembering me. I'm super, super nervous about this entire process. I want to pass on the first try...and be licensed!

I have complete confidence in you Alice, you will pass no problem. I'm here to help if you need me (not that I know the first thing about ID, but I maybe I can hold the flashcards!)
Wow! I will definitely pray! Sounds exciting!! Let me know if you need a study/quizzing partner...I was a bit obsessive/compulsive in college, so I totally understand the value of having a friend help out!
Ya'll are the BEST!
so excited for you Alice. You are driven + intelligent...which means success is inevitable! Will be praying for you, friend!
