See Point A (if you can) and see where Point B is? Yup, I'm traveling 10 hours for a turkey....and the best family on Earth! Tiny, little town of Monett, Missouri, old stomping grounds of Daddy Rich. There's not much to this place, but what they do have to offer is a lot fun! I've been hoarding birthday money to pick out my new pair of cowboy boots at the Justin Outlet, saving the majority of my stocking knick knack purchases for Modern Variety, the old five and dime that still has hot, roasted cashews at the counter. It's also home to my favorite pharmacy/Hallmark that carries the Hallmark keepsakes.
Bless that sweet husband's heart, he's driving all 10 hours with me. (You didn't think that there was an airport close did you?) He's also sacrificing watching the
Iron Bowl in the state of Alabama for the first time in his 28 years on this earth! If that ain't love, I don't know what is.
Just starting to get a little excited and thought I would share some of my favorite things about Thanksgiving. I've never spent one at home in Kentucky. How crazy is that? What are your plans for the Thanksgiving holiday?

How fun! I hope y'all have a great trip!
We're having Thanksgiving dinner at our house for both of our families, and I Think Ali and Chris are going to put up our outside Christmas lights that morning!
I smell a husband of the year award coming... ;)Or at least an honorable mention.
