I’ve pondered this question for so long and I need some enlightening. The topic: Picky Eaters. I’m surrounded by them!
Yes, at one time I was a rather picky eater, but refusing to try something was absolutely out of the question. Some of my mother’s most famous words were and still are, “You don’t have to like it, but you have to try it.” Because of this, I’ve learned that I could not stomach my grandmother’s sausage and noodle dish, meatloaf, eggplant or beef stroganoff. How did I figure this out? Surely not making an assumption, but I TRIED them.
I can’t fathom eating the same thing over and over and over again. {I love food….I am a self-proclaimed foodie. I love cooking new things, sharing recipes and trying new restaurants!} Are you a picky eater? Maybe you can make me aware why you choose not to try new things. I’m trying not to judge one’s choices in cuisine, but when the picky eaters I am surrounded by can’t give me an answer other than “It looks gross...smells bad...etc…”, I have a hard time accepting that as a valid answer. JUST TRY A BITE!
